We are committed to providing opportunities for worldwide short term missions experiences and compassion ministries.

Our mission is to develop and provide short term ministry opportunities for youth and adults of BMA churches, as well as those affiliated with other like-minded congregations.

Upcoming Trips

The goal for these trips is to provide a cultural experience as well as ministry and work projects to help domestic ministries. We encourage individuals from small youth groups who do not have the availability of youth mission trips to apply. You will have an uplifting experience by sharing the Gospel and meeting other youth who are also interested in mission work. More information will be provided on our social media sites as it comes available. Short Term Ministry Trips

Each trip is individually built to first and foremost serve God, and then serve both the volunteer, and the ones being served.

Some of the benefits of going on a trip with STM are:

You are able to serve the Lord, edify the church, and gain missionary exposure and experience
Come along side full time missionaries in a helpful way; assisting them in their long term work
Have the opportunity to experience how 80% of the world lives
Open yourself up to the possibility to go into full time missions
Have your world view expanded and catch a vision to support missionaries with prayer and financial support

Our Ultimate goal is to honor and glorify God by partnering with His missionaries all over the world and join them in advancing His kingdom.

In a more practical way we plan, organize, and facilitate short-term, God honoring trips. We develop new, and embrace current opportunities for believers of all ages to exercise and grow their gifts while directly investing in the Kingdom of God.

Memories of Past Trips

I went to Cambodia for the first time in 2025 and found myself there again in 2026. Before going to Cambodia, I was what you would call a lukewarm Christian. When I was given the opportunity to go to Cambodia, I jumped at it. Honestly I was excited for the adventure, but I had also always been intrigued by overseas mission work. It was definitely the wake-up call I needed.

We were helping put on a Bible school that a local church was hosting. I loved every minute with these bright-eyed, dirt-streaked children. We didn’t really speak the same language, but let me tell you this: I don’t care what color your skin is or what country you grow up in-everyone longs to be loved. Love knows no cultural barriers. Love has no language, and love is something every one of these beautiful little children are craving.

And you know what? That is something I could give. So I poured my whole heart into laughing, cuddling, and playing so many games with children who were absolutely brimming with energy. When I tell you that saying goodbye was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, I stand by it. Here are children with such big hearts who simply want to be seen and loved, and I had to add one more hurt to their pool of pain.

When you leave your own family, it is hard, and you miss them. But you also know they know Jesus and have a loving home. When you leave these children, there’s a very real chance you’ll never see them again, and many of them aren’t in the best home situations. The hardest part is knowing there’s nothing you can do except fall on your knees and pray your heart out. There are few things harder than handing over little people you love so much to God, trusting that He will protect them and love them in all the ways you can’t.

I may have left Cambodia, but a huge piece of my heart will always remain there. These people showed me how to enjoy the little things in life from water fights to the joy of loving on your younger siblings. They showed me how blessed I am to have been raised in America and what an incredible gift it is to know English.

Now that I’ve seen a glimpse into their hearts, I want to do everything in my power to protect their innocence. But even more importantly, I want to show them Jesus – the greatest gift I could ever give them.
